Trout House Village Resort

Very nice. Mild weather. Being 60+ I prefer a bathroom on the same level as the bed I'm sleeping in but it work for all us ladies.

Me and my family had one of the most beautiful time at the awesome Trout House Village Resort. If you are looking for a less commercialized experience at Lake George then this is the place for you. The owners have made sure to offer the best experiences for their guests whether it’s on the resort or by the lake with so many activities. We had to rent the motels as that was the only option available for this Labor Day weekend. Our check-in experience was great and the concierge person patiently answered all our questions regarding the resort as it was our first time. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the highlights of the resort are the most beautiful lake views from every room, 0.6 mile hike to one of the most scenic views of the lake, which begins right behind the resort and last but not the least, kayaking on the lake to explore all the small islands.. this was certainly the highlight of our stay here. Our boys ( 7 and 13 yr olds) loved the island hopping, fishing and the cliff jumping experience. One thing to keep in mind is that there are not that many dining options in the neighborhood so come prepared. There’s literally just 1 good restaurant. Other than that it’s one of the best resort in Lake George.

My boyfriend & I stayed in the Ethan Allen cabin over the Valentine's weekend. Such a beautiful & cozy cabin. Amazing view of the Lake.

Excellent accommodations, staff and service. The lake wasn't bad either.

I get a weekend here every year as a present for my mom, and every year is better than the last! The staff somehow always outdo themselves, year after year! Always something for everyone, and every accommodation is clean and cozy and very well-priced. I'm happy to have started this tradition.
