CS Coach House

A wonderful, romantic getaway for couples, or people looking to enjoy some rustic charm. Our host Craig was incredibly helpful and the hospitality was on point! Not overbearing at all and hardly even present besides a smile and a wave. All the breakfast and toiletries were high quality and ready for us when we returned in the evenings. The location was excellent for enjoying the state parks, trails, restaurants, etc. and we received great recommendations for dining and bars. Worth noting that I had some work meetings and the wifi was excellent. Thanks for a wonderful 4 nights! Everything was exactly as described on the website.

Stayed 2 nights in October. Reservations and check in were simple. Room was nice and the property was nice. Plenty of room to relax by the fire or creek. Definitely a place to stay for couples. Close to Kingston and Catskills.

We loved our stay at Captain Schoonmaker's Coach House! David and Craig were very hospitable and our room exceeded our expectations! The coach house is very well decorated and cozy. The serene surroundings made the balcony and outdoor areas very inviting! High Falls and Rosendale had lots of restaurants and cafes and were fun to walk around. Lastly, the coach house was in great proximity to some really great hikes and outdoor activities in the Catskills and surrounding areas. Highly recommended for an easy weekend getaway!

Captain Schoonmakers is a beautiful inn nestled in highfalls. I got the privilege of meeting Craig one of the new owners and I'm completely blown away by the personal touch they've given this place. My boyfriend and I felt comfortable and very well taken care of. The only suggestion I have is putting up a big sign and directions of where to park. We will definitely be back next year.
