Finger Lakes Hotel

UPDATE: we were asked to write the previous review when we booked our venue here, not knowing what was going to happen. We had to cancel our wedding and had an agreement that if this happened we would get our money back. Months went by and we were understanding and patient... until they stopped answering us and we still don't have our money back over a year later. We're finally going to court with this horrible place to try to get our money back. Don't have your wedding here. They're nice to you, until it isn't convenient for them!nnWe are currently planning our wedding for next year at this location. Everything has been great so far! They have taken care of all our needs, answered all questions and went above and beyond to make us happy. Food is amazing. They are currently fixing the rooms and making improvements so I'm excited for that. I hope our day goes as I dream it and well... so far the owner, Angelo, has been making sure it does❤

I come in town pay to stay a week give them a security deposit go to check out and can't get my security deposit back because the manager isn't there. So I have to come all the way back a different day to get my security deposit back. I'm not sure why the lady at the desk couldn't pick up the phone and get authorized to give me my money. Maintenance did a walk through with me and the room was perfect when I checked out too. I really don't appreciate I have to make the trip all the way back.

Place has seen better days... Worn out. No hand towels or wash cloths, toilet had urine in it whennwe arrived. Old spring Mattress sucked. I was charged 75.00 for the night obviously money isn't put back into this place.

Room was not clean, hair in the tub when we checked in, spiderwebs above the bed. Had room with 2 double beds, only 2 sets of towels. When we asked for another set, we were told they did not have anymore to give out. Outside trash cans over flowing every day. Never saw a cleaning person and we stayed 4 days, no one even emptied our room trash. if you book, stay clear of the older white man that works for the hotel, heard him yelling at other people everyday of our stay using so much profanity, I was embarrassed because this happened in front of their 4 year old. Every morning he was yelling at another guest.

Very large property, room had a balcony with a view (sort of). Guy who greeted us was so nice, showed us the room and made sure it had everything we needed. Very beautiful space!
