night hotel

The lobby was nice, but when you get out of the elevator to your floor, it’s like time traveling to 1980. And no repairs have been made since. We checked in our room and the heat register was blowing hot steam and the room was humid and wet. When we complained, the staff asked so many questions as if we weren’t being honest. Finally get a new room, windows were filthy with grime, the a/c was caked with dirt and dust. The carpet was taped down in areas. The bed was sunken in. Total dive! I don’t recommend wasting your money here.

Stay anywhere but here! We arrived at around midday and staff were extremely rude and disinterested. There were some very unsavoury characters staying in the hotel and gathering in the lobby. It was my first time in NYC and I’ve never felt as unsafe as I did in this hotel.nThe rooms haven’t been decorated since the 70’s, they’re unclean and stink of weed! Definitely the worst hotel experience of my life.nThe hotel is around a 10 minute walk to Central Park and is just round the corner from a subway station. However, I didn’t feel safe walking around this area so it’s best to spend more money and stay somewhere more central.nNot even worthy of 1 star!

The faucet fell off tub and could not stop water flowing, went down to tell them and no one came to help for 3 hours, made 2 trips to tell them because phone not working,nand then maintenance man did not speak EnglishnNO WIFI had to use cell data and will get huge billncould not close window in bathroom and it was freezing outsidenThreads hanging from towelnpaint stains on floornloud motor noise in morning for hoursnno drapesnno tissuesnDidn’t have good choice of tv stationsnno towel barnhad to kill bug in room!none lady at desk extremely rude, made me make extra trip to my room to get reservation # for extra day stay which I made with THEIR reservationist!

There was no heat tv didn't come on. The rooms are extremely small. There are only sheets on the bed no blanket just 2 sheets. I'm anemic and I froze. My boyfriend took the hair dryer off the wall to plug behind the bed to even keep warm. I hated every second and wish I could've gotten a refund soon as I checked in. Never will get my business again. I'm thinking that for 100 I would get a nice room....a mf..ing LIE SO DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THE ONLY GOOD THING IS IT AHEAD SMELLED LIKE ⛽...WEED SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO HIDE BUT I WAS SO DAMN COLD A COULDN'T EVEN BREAK IT DOWN TO ROLL IT

the Elegance of the lung be combined with the very modern in luxurious rooms makes us stand out above other days inn I stayed and throughout the country. Kudos to the design team for matching the upper West side vibe to the rooms and lobby: old, casual, but elegant first and foremost. Also, I appreciated the laid-back genteel customer service oriented staff.
