Homewood Suites by Hilton New York/Midtown Manhattan Times Square-South, NY

It was my first time to NY and didn’t really know what to expect but I was pleased here. I read reviews about tons of homeless people... well that’s New York. I don’t see a problem with it, if you’re looking for a room in Times Square that’s how it will be. No one bothered us. The rooms were beautiful and really clean. There was a lady at the front desk who was extremely helpful. She recommended the Sugar Bar restaurant to us and gave us a lot of info. They accommodated our low floor request when others wouldn’t. I would go here again!!!

Didn't stay, had to cancel

This hotel is near a quiet part of time square area. It wasn’t far from a subway station. The breakfast choices were pretty basic. Nothing about this hotel was great. Staff was unresponsive in request for towels and pillows. The shower only turned on after several tries. Every single time we went to turn it on you had to turn it on and off from cold to hot repeatedly just to get the water to come out. The room was small but was okay for sleeping in. No spaces to sit and relax. We selected a non smoking room but the person in the room next to ours was chain smoking and the smell was all over our room since the walls were so thin. This was our first and last time staying at this location. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Pay a fee extra bucks a night and stay somewhere eat restaurants, coffee shops and other available amenities.

The staff was awesome and very helpful, thanks for being the highlight of my New York visit, I really appreciate everything that was done to accommodate me and my family.nI'd recommend this place to everyone who wants to check out the city.nThe breakfast each day was different and that was an unexpected treat, the coffee was better than anticipated as well.nI wish I could leave 10 stars for the outstanding customer service!
