The Hotel Newton

I grew up in the neighborhood and always thought this was a transient hotel. I wound up spending a night here when I came back for a visit. I thought it was great, much better than I expected. It was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. My out-of-town friend had to show proof of a negative covid test to check in. I think the place used to be an apartment building. It had classic old stairwells and narrow hallways. Even so, it was quiet and cozy. We had rooms in the back, so there was no view but also no traffic noise. I would stay here again.

Rooms are great for the price and the restaurant and bar has a very eclectic menu. The pool area is also a big attraction, has a wide variety of equipment in the gym. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. and I know I will be back again.

Was a nice little room no smoking but we booked a room and got stuck with a much smaller room than when we booked

I'd give it five but didnt know that I would have to share arestroom. Some rooms come with their restroom.

First and very important the staff were very rude and not welcoming at all. The staff didn’t know what they were doing and swiped my card unauthorized after I told them i had already paid on expedia i asked for my card back multiple times and the front desk would not hand me my card back. I don’t know if it’s that they didn’t understand English but after trying to explain to them that I had already paid on Expedia they kept telling me that they did not see my reservation. saying that their system was down or something like that therefore he proceeded to tell me to wait so I waited in the waiting room for about an hour other people were having the same problem people who booked on booking.com I booked on Expedia when I explain to the guy that I had booked on Expedia he just told me that it wasn’t his problem that it wasn’t showing up on the system and that I had to wait so I waited in the waiting room for an hour after waiting for the hour I was told there were no rooms available. The hotel was very dirty anyways and the staff was very very rude about three of them and they were all rude I ended up having nowhere to stay that night but I’m actually glad that I didn’t stay here I would definitely not recommend!nBeware book at your own risk!
