The Americana Inn

There is a 150 dollar deposit for a 60 dollar room that had gnats in it and a hole in the wall. Front desk attendants are rude and fail to explain how check in / check out actually works. I know it is affordable, but please don’t waste your money at a place that’s makes you share bathrooms with other guests.

Really nice hotel. Pretty clean and the staff is amazing. Really friendly people to help you anytime. I would definitely recommend you to stay here. The location is amazing. Close to empire states, Rockefeller center, st Patrick, and you can even walk to central park from there

The Americana inn is allright but more of a crash pad hotel/hostel mix. Not too high on the communal restrooms though. Location is a big plus though!

M y husband and I were renovating our apartment and needed a hotel for 5 nights. He booked this place. Unbeknownst to me, there are no private bathrooms. They are shared. When we arrived I was exhausted and just needed to sleep. I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and the bathroom closet was gross. I immediately woke him and told him we were leaving. That was the last time he will be in charge of selecting a hotel room.nnThe gentleman who checked us in and out was very nice. It's a fine place if you want a very small room with no amenities.
