The Central Park North

First the walk to the front door up to the majestic front door of this brownstone building. Alas, that's where the charm ends. My journey was 4 more floors up a creaky old staircase to my tiny 7' x 16' room. The bed was solid and the place peaceful for my daytime sleep. The place was functional. The shared baths more than a little worn. The staff is friendly and helpful. For what I paid just about what was expected.

It was nice once you get to the place clean and all for a look like bed and breakfast. Had a niece and her fiancé stay here under my reservation. Just be prepare to share bathroom and the staff does not work passed 6 so if you running late for the reservation is a long ordeal process to be able to get in and verification. Tip: they need to upgrade the doors to either temp codes as they have in the front in that way people can check in pass 6pm.

This is literally a boarding house not a hotel. One employee and the customer service I’ve ever experienced. There are no bathrooms in the economy rooms and room was clearly not disinfected or clean whatsoever. Felt like a night in jail!ud83dudc9dud83eudd0d

Very nice location. Clean room. I was very comfortable on my stay here. I will definitely be back.
