Dartmouth House

Just a quick, impromptu overnight stay. The canandaigua room was awesome. Everything was very clean. Tub is big enough for two ud83dude09 and I'm pretty sure we were the only ones in the entire house. It was so cool!

Our visit was during statewide Phase 3 of COVID-19 restrictions, so this review doesn't cover food and dining. I will also note hat it wasn't booked to capacity, so I can't address noise.nnThe room was delightful. We chose the third floor for quiet. It was immaculately clean. The bathroom fixtures are all updated. Our bed had a very soft mattress topper and the sheets were super soft.nnWe selected Dartmouth House for location. It was close to business we were in town for. Park Avenue is nearby, with restaurants, bars and cafes between 0.5 to 1 mile. It's on a quiet residential street. Parking provided.nnCommunications from host were prompt and clear. They were readily available to assist. COVID-19 adaptations and policies were strong, part of why we chose the establishment.nnWe would absolutely stay at Dartmouth House again.

We are returning clients to the Dartmouth House. Gary and Milena are welcoming, professional and very accommodating. No cookie cutter lodging here. Rooms are all clean and tastefully appointed with different ones to meet varied budgets. In addition, the location is very convenient to many parts of town because of proximity to 490.

Dartmouth House succeeds at the most important thing. It's spotless. It's a very pleasant and enjoyable place to stay. The Victorian flair is good. The breakfast is well executed. The bed is very comfortable and high quality. The staff is friendly and welcome. There are some decent restaurants and drinks within walking distance. This is a very nice place to stay and overall a great value for the money.

The Dartmouth House is the most well kept and beautiful space! The staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, especially as we had a rather large and complicated reservation surrounding our wedding. They were so supportive and invested in helping us have an amazing stay. The food was amazing, the rooms so comfortable and lovely, and the location perfect. The Dartmouth House has to be the best place to stay in Rochester, hands down! They helped make some of the best memories surrounding our wedding.
