Was there for a work conference, only people there were for the conference. Everyone was pretty sure it was set to be demolished afterwards.

And the best Valentine's and the restaurant was before it was dismantled and taken over by you-know-who it was so much better before I love the rugs and the escalator and everything it is not well taken care of it has been run down just like everything else in Rochester that people have run down but people pretend to be the owners

Hotel in need of repairs. First day, two of the four elevators were out of order. The escalator up to the second floor was out of order. By check out after the second night, a third elevator was out of order. Older parking garage, don't drive a larger vehicle. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Booked a room here back in october 2019....got the confirmation email a few days ago(in JANUARY 2020) that we were all set to go. Arrived at the hotel today after traveling 2 hours and every door was locked, homeless people living in the parking ramp..upon going to call the hotel found out it is CLOSED!!!! Nobody called us to let us know this hotel was NOT going to be open for our stay... EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED and had to scramble and book another hotel at the last minute..cant wait til this place is open again so I can call them and get some answers and a refund!!! DO NOT BOOK A STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!

We choose to stay here as part of a larger group that was attending a conference at the attached conference center. Since the Hyatt was sold out it seemed a logical and convenient choice - we should've walked from a hotel that wasn't attached!nnLet's start from the beginning, I am sure that this hotel has actually arrived from an alternate universe where it survived an apocalypse. The parking garage is a nightmare and looks like it might implode at any given moment. We reserved King beds for all of our rooms - but were given doubles when we arrived. They finally switched our rooms only to have the one they gave me one occupied by someone else - so they moved me again. I think it was the spare parts room - the room was 60 degrees and freezing with none of the amenities they claim on the website.nnThe heater runs nonstop and switches between blowing heat and ac at any given moment, even though it is set for 72. No fridge, microwave, coffee, ice bucket, toiletries - not even the hotel book of information to know.nnThe ancient Sleep Number beds have to be the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. I would take an air mattress with a slow leak in a tent over this bed! And I hate camping. But I should consider myself lucky since most of my colleagues don't even have the remote to adjust it from maximum firmness. My poor friend may have given herself whiplash and a concussion when she sat on hers and it jarred her spine rather than give an ounce!nnEven the coffee station in the lobby was empty at 8am to the point that my colleague and I shared what amounted to half a cup each and the sugar packets were hardened solid. I'm glad they didn't offer any sort of breakfast!nnThe rooms were pretty disgusting as well - huge stains on the carpets, curtains not attached fully and falling off the tracks. The light at the entrance is an fire hazard and crackles and flickers like a bad horror movie. Only 2 of the 4 elevators work - sometimes. At the time of writing this (I still have 2 nights left - pray for us!) we haven't gotten stuck in one but I am convinced it's a real possibility. Actually another one of my colleagues got stuck in her bathroom, so I am grateful it wasn't me. The escalators aren't working and the lobby is devoid of any decent furniture or sitting areas.nnEarlier in the day we actually choose to sit in the neighboring Hyatt's lobby (super nice I recommend it) for an hour of down time between sessions because our rooms and hotel are so unwelcoming.nnMoral of the story: don't wait until the last minute to RSVP for an event when traveling with a group and get stuck at this hotel (#thanksmark) and if you do - bear the cold winter weather and walk from a hotel that isn't attached if you can't stay at the Hyatt!
