Trail's End Inn

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at the Trails End Inn last weekend. It was the perfect quiet location from which to access the high peaks area without the bustle and expense of staying in Lake Placid. We stayed in the Hurricane Suite which was clean and more than spacious for the two of us. A plate of cookies was waiting in the room when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and served by a cozy fire in the dining room. It was organized to keep the number of guests in the dining room to a minimum. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

The Trails End Inn was a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I came on valentines day weekend. After a busy day around Lake Placid, the haystack loft was just what we needed. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Our pup had a great time as well! Will definitely be back!

We recently had a wonderful stay at the Trail's End Inn! Our room was warm, clean, and cozy with beautiful views and plenty of space. Breakfasts were delicious and included a variety of freshly made brunch delights and plenty of good coffee. We were right in the heart of hiking country and a short distance from Lake Placid. The Trail's End Inn worked hard to make our stay comfortable despite all the necessary Covid precautions that were taken.nWe highly recommend a visit to the Trail's End Inn and will definitely be back! A beautiful location and amenities for the seasoned skier / Adirondack lover looking to enjoy all the that the area offers. Breakfast was large and quite enjoyable.. even though I'm recently gluten and dairy free. The extras are a special touch. Definitely worth the trip. We have already planned our next Trail's End stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the AlgonquinnCottage in February. The house was very clean and warm. We enjoyed getting a delicious, hearty breakfast from the main inn each morning! I appreciated the gluten free options provided - amazing baked goods!! Great home base for adventures in Lake Placid and at Whiteface. We look forward to our next visit.
