The Roxbury at Stratton Falls

I'm afraid to leave a review because I'll never be able to get in again! I have never visited a more joyful and unique place...and that's during a pandemic. If you have the ability to afford one of the cottages you must book one. The experience is worth it. The Falls trail is right there and the historic markers give you a nice background on the place. All in all one of my favorite stays anywhere.

The definition of a hidden gem. I genuinely wish I could give this place so much more than just 5 stars. We stayed at the crown of pendragon room and the pictures don’t do it justice, it was just breathtaking. From the extraordinary room, to the care that’s taken with sanitizing, the amazing waterfall on the premises to the super-sweet staff; you can’t help but feel like royalty here. We even had the surprise of having our breakfast delivered to our room by one of the engineers himself, which was such a sweet personalized touch. I will 100% be coming back here every chance I get.

I would give this resort 7-stars if I could. We stayed in two different rooms and WOW. The main mansion has such charisma and ambiance. Rooms- are incredibly theme designed, feel new and clean. Tower Cottage we stayed in - took my breath away... UNREAL architecture, lighting and design. Great staff: friendly and very accommodating. We absolutely loved the Crooked Cabana (their Spa and Relaxing area), and fully enjoyed their Shimmering Spa dry sauna, wet sauna, Quiet Room with lounge chairs and jacuzzi- all only available by appointment. I must mention- with pandemic going on, they took strict precautions with social distancing and sanitizing.

Like most people I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. During the 2020 pandemic, this became our escape. Each room and cottage is so well done, with no details missed, that it always feel like we are in a dream. This year we have stayed in the Posh Post Master, the Crown of the Pendragon, and Dracula’s Fangs. Picking a favorite is like picking a favorite child.

This place has bypassed our expectations and have made my fiancé’s birthday “the best he’s ever had”. We stayed at the “Tereza of The Titans” for 4 days and from the moment we walked in we were actually tripping over our own feet due to the beautiful decor and visual stimulation. After speaking to the owners I have an extreme respect for the dream of theirs and how they stuck true to themselves even with the pandemic and in turn have created one of the most magical places in the United States, a true experience, the people and businesses of Roxbury should be thanking them for putting this town on the map! I was so nervous my fiancé would think I was crazy dragging him into the Catskills but as soon as we pulled into the driveway his eyes lit up, and after spending the night hearing him say, “we will have to come back every year”! Both the motel spa and the hotel spa are beautiful and visually stunning and very clean, we spent hours here! I could write on and on about the experience and the place itself but I can’t ruin it for everyone, it’s truly something you need to experience for yourself. I’m so great full for the team for making a place like this come true and for being able to share it with the rest of the world. We will 100% be back to experience another space in the near future!
