Econo Lodge Elmira-Corning

This place was not bad. There are 2-things that didn't set well. First, upon check-in, you are required to make a $150 refundable deposit. This was not disclosed to me by booking.com. Next was the massive draft under the door. You really need a warm-mist humidifier here to stay healthy, as the draft under the door will cause the heater to run all night. Dry sinuses equals a sore throat and a cold. I DID get my deposit back once the person on-duty saw that the TV still worked. You need to pay more than expected to check-in, even though you will get it back without major damage.

Love the customer service. They were wonderful and super nice at front desk. Rooms were clean and nice for the price we paid for them. Will def return if back in the area!!!

Polite and knowledgeable staff at the front desk. King bed Smoking room!! Yes.. a motel that still caters to everyone including smokers.!! Kudos Econo lodge!!

I stayed at econo because of a fire at my house the electric was shut off. I must say it was a pleasing stay for the price. No real complaints.

Great price for weekly rates and the owner is a great guy
