My fiancé and I were new to Upstate NY! We found an apartment complex on facebook marketplace so I messaged about it and within twenty minutes AL Burke responded. Within a week our application was approved and we got shown apartments two days later!! Christin showed us one apartment and then another one that wasn’t even listed yet because it was still undergoing renovations!! The second apartment was PERFECT for us and Christin was such a comfort during this stressful and scary time of moving. She answered ALL of our questions with understanding and we even got to pick what day we wanted to move in!! On the day of the move-in Christin was so thorough with writing down and taking photos of every little scratch or bump on the wall so we wouldn’t be penalized at the end of our lease! I’m so happy to have found AL Burke for our first apartment!

I have been a tenant of A.L Burkes for over a year now & I can honestly say they are amazing, they've helped me tremendously & I cannot thank them enough! Highly recommend renting from them!

The rental units are clean and well maintained! The staff is reasonable and professional. If you have an issue, you get a response very quickly. I’ve rented several locations from different landlords over the years and hands down A.L. Burke is in the top for best property owner I’ve done business with! They are awesome!

Wouldn't give them a star if I had a choice. Moved in a pinch Into to an apartment of theirs and have NEVER been so disappointed. From day one I haven't had hot wàter and I am responsible for the utilities. Have had 3 separate strangers claim to be landlord?No lawn mowing gets done. Water leaks in kitchen and bathroom.

Would never rent from this company again. Doesn’t respond to issues in timely manner, floors in apartment are falling apart, people working in office are always rude. Hornet infestation amongst huge portion of apartment complex ignored for months. No working dryer for the entire first half of the year I lived here (an amenity they were strongly advertising as included) and the washer broke half way through as well. I could go on and on. We were promised new parking that would be done shortly after we moved in, as we all have to park on the street if we exceed the 1 included space. Now over a year later there is no parking and the place it was supposedly going is filled with grass again. Not worth the price they charge and won’t take their time to help you with any issues that occur. New owners as of recently of the Chenango St Apts, I knew someone who lived here with the previous owners. A.L Burke doesn’t seem to care about this apartment, not sure of the others they own. Went downhill and charged almost $300 more a month for no new amenities and little to no upgrades. The doors in my apartment wouldn’t even close all the way when we moved in. They had the fridge, dishwasher and microwave all on one outlet running across the kitchen under the sink and through the cabinets and told me “just switch them when you need to use them” instead of trying to fix it, eventually it was fixed. Our kitchen sink never had cold water. It was scorching hot at all times. Luckily the cold water would trickle so if you position the faucet just right, you won’t burn yourself. When they do show up to fix something or do routine checks that were never regular, the only thing that was consistent is they never came at the time they said they were coming (usually gave a 6 hour time span and would still arrive outside of that). They have a serious problem with dog waste all over the property and complaints from multiple units did nothing.nnSeriously just don’t waste your time or money here.
