Our dog was there for 6 days while we went out west to a funeral. when we picked him up he had chemical burns on his paws and tail that I did not know he had until we returned home where I realized he was shaking and would not walk .I washed his raw red blistered paws and put bag balm on them took him to the vet who said they were from the strong chemicals they use to wash out the kennel pads . Obviously it was not rinsed off well enough he must have stood in it and sat in it because his tail was raw and blistered also .when I called they didn't even apologize he was just silent on the other end. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE !!ud83dude21

We've housed our dogs here many times over the last four years and we're always happy with the state in which we find our animals. It's not the prettiest boarding facility, but it's clean and the dogs are well taken care of. After the first time we went here, I decided to try another local kennel and one of my dogs came home needing the attention of a vet, so we switched back and have been completely happy with this kennel.

Picked up my dog with chemical burn on the tail and feet. Highly unrecommended.

I boarded my dog for 5 nights over Christmas and brought his bed. called 2 days after to see how he was. Told he was doing great. Then picked him up and was handed a large black trash bag containing the bedding which the employee placed in my trunk. Upon arriving home later, opened the bag to find the dog bed shredded and stuffing at bottom of bag. I called following morning and spoke with owner whom I discussed situation with. He told me the bed was shredded within 2 hours of his arrival. I asked what he slept on and was told they put a towel on concrete floor. Mentioned if I was told about this, I could have brought something for him to lie on. He did not even apologize. My dog has been kept overnight at kennels in the past with same bed and never did this. Main concern is that no one thought to contact me nor tell me when I called and my dog slept on a towel on concrete floor for several nights in cold weather.

We've had our dogs to multiple kennels in the Upper Valley over the past 20 years and since we found the Animal Inn in the 90's, we haven't ever needed to switch again. It's a bit of a drive for us, but the dogs always come back happy and healthy, and the staff are all good people. They're always very friendly and accommodating.
