It was absolutely amazing. They at least had a substantial breakfast for you to travel on. Great stay, wished it would of been longer.
Overall the stay was good. This is an older property, has had some updates, but overall not impressive. If you are looking for a place to hang out with the kids, pets (this place is pet friendly), and save money having a kitchen then this is probably a great option. The tub had been removed and replaced with a standard shower along with separate shower wand, but even for me it was very cramped. The bed was OK but you could tell the firmness was on its last legs especially if you sat on the edges. Overall my stay was good…but I tend to expect more from Marriott. The staff from check-in to check-out were excellent and took great care of me.

Excellent for short or long term stays. Nice quiet location not far from grocery stores and downtown Portsmouth.Front desk and cleaning staff are all good people. Cute fitness center. No heavy weights but you can still get a good workout with available dumbbells, phyisoball, cardio machines and the indoor pool. There's also a basketball court that you could also play pickle ball on if you happen to find a net :). Full kitchens available although not all of them offer an oven which is nice for long term stays during the winter months.
First of all this rating is based on their customer service. I was on a business trip and originally booked the Sheraton in downtown Portsmouth. I decided to change it to the Residence Inn since the trip was 2 weeks. I booked this location through the Bonvoy app, but there were 2 Residence Inn within miles (downtown location) of each other. I told the hotel that I made an honest mistake, but they still charged me a cancellation fee. As one of their top tier members, I explained I will stay at this location if they can refund me what is close to a $200 charge. I waited a month and they did not want to work with me. I am traveling back to Portsmouth, but will not consider this location. I highly recommend the downtown location, it's convenient to almost everything and newly renovated. They are also willing to work with you including parking rates.
