This place looks awesome. We were hiking when we went right by it. It was closed due to you know what!!! But it did look super inviting, cozy and the way they built it using the trees they cut to clear the way is just breathtaking. The entire place looks like one huge log cabin, yet so sophisticated and artistic that it looks it really belongs there and is part of the beautiful nature surrounding it.nI hope they open soon, I want to visit.
Beautiful location but the lodge was closed due to covid. Unfortunately due to the closure they closed the main parking lot so the parking is along the entry road which adds an extra mile each way. It is tough to face the extra mile after hiking the mountain.
Really cool to see the huge pine logs used to build it. Closed this year because of Corona unfortunately.
Love this place. Good old-fashioned wooden lodge run by Dartmouth outing club. Great hiking food
A group of friends take an annual hike somewhere in the White Mountains and historically have stayed at an AMC hut. We ventured off this year having found the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge. The lodge itself and the setting are spectacular and trail access it great too.nnWe were familiar with the family style dinners but the main coursenwas a clunker -- curried tofu with rice which was not cool for members of my group and me. Breakfast the next morning there was a lack of refills of OJ and we needed another tray of eggs to fill up before hiking again Sunday but none were available.nnTough to rate higher than 3* given these simple things being off.
