A great place to spend a night or two, Perfect distance to haul a couple days food and clothing then short hike to the summit or other day hikes. One of my favorites for a get-away.
Grew at spot for up to 12 people, this cabin was sick! Pretty easy hike up and then only about a half mile from the summit and firetower. Full blown kitchen facilities and a wood stove, hut stayed nice and warm! There is a stream nearby for water (bring a filter) and a composting toilet as well. You can't go wrong here.

First hut stay! I hike and backpack all the time, and this was such an incredible treat. Incredible service, every hut crew is AWESOME!
This cabin was the perfect location for a weekend with the crew. I would visit this location again.
