Some of the negative reviews are comical... It's a rustic cabin on the lake, not the Ritz Carlton. I had a very pleasant experience with the manager. The rooms were as expected, nothing more, nothing less. The location alone is worth the price... it's right on the water with private lakefront access. There's grills, picnic tables, canoes, kayaks, fire pits, a dock, and tons to do. It's close to a lot of attractions too. Just know what it is before you get all pi$$y!
A lovely place. Quiet. Slept great. Woke u p to a Loon calling and bats bobbing in the Lake. Very relaxing And I enjoyed it. Nancy was a very helpful hostess. Thanks. Loved it.
Lovely view of Little Squam Lake. Small private screened in porch made a pleasant place to enjoy the view over morning coffee.
One would think with a great location right on Little Squam Lake with direct beach access this roadside motel was one of those hidden treasures. NOT SO. After paying nearly $200 for the night we were led to an incredibly rundown and shabby room. The doors didn't close without a fight. The furniture was old and mismatched. The room had a musty smell. They need to either start reinvesting the rather high price back into maintaining the property or it will collapse around them.
Friendly and attentive staff. The beach area is excellent for kids and we had a blast staying here in the summer.
