A small inn, intimate in its own way. Excellent food. Attentive house and wait staff who are not aggressive or pushy - just what you need. Accommodations are not luxurious, but are terrific nonetheless. In short, Squam Lake Inn mirrors its locale, understated elegance with emphasis on quiet and relaxation.
Excellent stay! Clean room with comfortable mattress, soft sheets, and nice bathroom. Also, the included breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve had at a hotel or inn. All the staff, especially Nancy, were friendly, welcoming, and full of tips for visitors. Would definitely come back again.
First time staying at a B& B and it was wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff were friendly, nice and always smiling.,from the owner Rae, to all the staff that we encountered, Lucas, Sarah, Molly ,Steve, Nancy and Stella. The food at the restaurant was fabulous as well as breakfast. Cannot say enough about how great this quick getaway was for us. We will definitely go back.
Great stay! Great location! The bed was heavenly and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast every morning was fabulous. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. I am a foodie and this was definitely in my top 3 best breakfasts of all time. Please do yourself a favor and book dinner at their restaurant, you will be in for an absolute treat! The homemade ice cream sandwiches for dessert.. OMG! Amazing!
What a lovely experience! The room was well decorated and super clean, the staff was warm and friendly, and the Flap Steak was delicious... I highly recommend it. Our server, Steve, knew his stuff and he was easy going. My only complaint is we didn't get to stay longer.nnYou will not be disappointed.
