I just needed a spot for one night and the price felt too good to be true (under $60) but the one review I read (not sure where) gave it a 9/10. I stay at a lot of different kinds of places and the Art Gallery Hostel is definitely one of a kind and met my needs perfectly - a comfortable, clean room at a great price. Quirky but warm and friendly (in a non-hotel kind of way.) It felt very much like staying at a friend's house and the friend gives you all the privacy and/or company you need or want. The other guests were friendly and of the same, casual ilk - no stress, no big demands - just looking for a safe, clean place to camp out for a night or for a while. This isn't a 4 star hotel so don't expect 4 star amenities. It is what it is and for me it was great!
Great place to stay for a day or more. Dave is a great host and attracts a respectable culture. Space to hang, study, cook, wash yourself, or get some rest peacefully. Feels like home.
Very clean, quiet stay. Hostel is pleasant and homey. I stayed for an extended time and it was perfect. Friendly host who is attentive when needed. Great stay for the price.
Amazing place with great cats! Owner is a super nice person. Safe and secure!
WOW if this man was so rude and nasty don't see how much of an impression that makes for a comfortable stay. Very ignorant man who answered the phone. If they have business, state hours of operation. It's not like calling someone's home. He was anything but polite. NEVER
