The entire building smells like old cigarettes. The A/C in my room made a loud rattling sound all night. I was not aware of not having a private bathroom. Shared bathroom had hair all over the sink and there was a small sliver of soap on the sink. Shower was unclean and no showerhead.
Good old world place to stay at. Friendly staff. Due to it's age room service is minimal.
Built in 1879? Building has a lot of character and charm .very Clean ,comfortable and quiet. Best of all priced right! Felt like a quest in a home rather than a customer in a room!
Ok rooms, very cheap prices. Super nice staff and clean. Stayed there for 4 months while working locally. No frills, but worth the price.
This quaint, oldstyle hotel was a delight to stay at. It was clean and quiet with the added charm of high ceilings and a central location if you're spending time in Blair. Having the toilet and shower down the hall is no issue if you think of it as a hostel. Plus, the price couldn't be beat. I'd even consider it instead of a place in Omaha.
