I stayed the night here with my speech team and honestly we had a great time. The rooms are all beautiful, and the art in them is refreshingly not modern. That’s how you could sum up the entire place. Refreshingly not modern. Breakfast was good, and I suspect the jam was locally made. Apparently the AC doesn’t work in some rooms, so you may want to bring a fan, my group just opened up the window in our room and we did fine.nThe entire place is pretty small, but well decorated. It’s not the kind of modern hotel that usually gets awarded five stars, but it is the kind of blast from the past that deserves it.
The owner is awesome and the food from the cafe is amazing. The rooms are quaint and rustic giving you the country feel. The air conditioners aren't the best but you can ask the owner, Sherri, for something.
5/5. Absolutely loved this Hotel! Takes you back to days gone by. Friendly and accommodating owner. Great food in the cafe all homemade by owner. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend !
Wonderful, historical experience. Friendly staff, peaceful. Not as modern or luxurious as some places but you have to factor in the age and location of this landmark hotel. I had relatives work there decades ago. I thank God it's still operating. Lynn Chelewski
