Spencer Roofing

First off... 10 Stars! I was referred to Mike (and Spencer Roofing) through a friend that used them in 2007. My initial call to the office was extremely pleasant. The woman on the phone was very kind and helpful. This is always a great start as I work in a customer service role of sorts myself. When I spoke with Mike, he was every bit as personable and honest with me as my friend says he was with him many years ago. Basically it's like meeting an old friend again. I had water leaking into my home from an ice dam and Mike and his assistant Dwayne showed up right away to start clearing snow and ice from my roof while I was at work. I couldn't believe the responsiveness! Due to the thickness of the ice he wanted to return the next day to follow up on it and remove more to make sure it was fully under control; which is what he did. I mentioned I was interested in a roof quote and after speaking with him he said that he didn't feel I really needed to spend money on a new roof at this time. He offered suggestions on how I could help myself in the future rather than jumping on an opportunity to just take my money. As a single father and first time home owner, I thought this was pretty amazing as I wasn't expecting that response. I'm still interested in a roof quote given the age of my roof currently, so for sure we'll be meeting again. I highly recommend Spencer Roofing for anyone looking for a fair and honest company to assist with any roofing work or help they may need.

Mike Knish went above and beyond! I had a small leak that I wanted repaired, and he got back to me so quickly and was able to come out the next day. He did everything and more while I was at work and gave me a great deal when I came home to settle up. Highly recommend! Especially if you’re a first time homebuyer, they really are helpful!

We had a GREAT contractor experience with Spencer Roofing. First of all, Spencer was very competitive compared to other quotes we received. The crew that showed up was large, efficient and did a great job. When water damage was identified after tear off, Mike jumped right into carpentry mode at a very fair additional cost. Cleanup & follow-up was A-1. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had an ice dam and leak. Mike responded promptly and was able to clear the dam and prevent further damage. He even came back later in the day to check up on the area. Would highly recommend.
