David Plank and his crew did an outstanding job on my cabin in Luther, MI. I live in Kalamazoo and finding quality, reliable help is like finding a needle in a haystack in the Luther area. I called at least 3 local contractors and no one would return my call. I even called a large outfit based out of Kalamazoo (Sherriff Goslin) and has a outlet on Alpine in Comstock Park near GR. They did return my call and said they would get back with me on a quote. After two follow up calls (that were never returned) months later I decided to look for another roofing company. I found Plank Roofing on Home Adviser which is typically not a resource I consider reputable as I have had previous experience with Home Adviser through my own company. I was desperate to find anyone that would just follow up with me professionally. I inquired, through Home Adviser, and David called me almost immediately. He said they service that area and would take a look. He looked at this quickly and I received a quote shortly thereafter. I was taking a leap of faith since this is a smaller operation but I felt confident with the Davids knowledge and professionalism. He is always responsive whether through emails, phone calls, or text messages. His crew showed up on Labor day and were very efficient and professional. They did an excellent job and I would DEFINITELY use them again and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone for a steel roofing job. I am in the trades / service industry and understand how hard it is to find decent help in rural places. I am happy I found Plank Roofing to do the work at my cabin.
