Attempted to purchase a new rear derailleur using the “knowledgeable” staff over at Rockford bike shop. Was severely disappointed when I realized my dog knew more about bikes then the kids working there. Disrespectful and arrogant are two great adjectives to describe them. But, such behavior is to be expected of any one from Rockford. If you are looking for a place with actual knowledge on the inner workings of a bicycle, I would try YouTube before going back to Rockford bike shop. But if that doesn’t pan out, Freewheelers in Grand Rapids, Rock n Road cycle of Grandhaven, Grand Rapids Bicycle Company, West Michigan Bike and Fitness, Village Bike and Fitness.... are all 100 fold better than Rockford.
Great guys and very knowledgeable. Only gave 4 stars cause i have wait until july for a new bike but I know it is not the shops fault. DAMN COVID!!!!!
The BEST Bike Shop Ever!!!!!!!!! The staff is super nice and the bikes are top notch. Prices are very fair and they will give you great deals when you become a regular. This is the only place we will go to and are now trek fans for life because of RBS! Please check them out and maybe consider getting a bike from them.
