Our friends's highly recommendation over the years, we finally went there first time. After 5+ drive, and when arrived and checked in to our cottage, owner shows up out of blue and wanted to move in the cottage that we rented (cottages are privately owned, but owners rent out the week when they are not using, and signed rental contracts). That was, of course a bit disappointment, since the cottage we rented close by our friend's cottage, we did not want to move out to another one. But awesome Melanie (Rental Manager) steps in, and tells the owner that he did not blocked out the dates he supposed to be there, and she worked with us, and made everything perfect. In fact, she stopped by next day, and make sure we are all good, and gave us a gift card top of it! so all worked perfect at the end!nnI rarely give 5 stars, if this review gotten 5 stars from me, it is because of her!nnNow, about the place; awesome place, well maintained, comfortable, family friendly community. Well kept cottages (it also depends which cottage you rent and how well owner(s) maintains cottage) with 3 pools, play grounds and sporting, and short ride to Ogunquit and Wells beaches, tons of great restaurants close by and kids activities, so keep it short; the location is fantastic!
Miss this place... Used to own a house here, it was nice. :)
I went there a few times. Great place, well located. Every time I came to Summer Village, I loved it. They offer a lot of activities.
Love it here. Everyone is so friendly.
Great family vacation! Site has many facilities & activities for all ages. Each cottage is different, ours had too much furniture and dust collecting trinkets. Kitchen was well furnished and appreciated after a day at the beach. Nearby beach parking ( 10-20 min drive or bicycle) have fees. (No fee for bikes). Bed linens are not included in price and even if it is well documented in the communication with the reservation desk, we forgot ours....
