This is my happy place. I love spending summers and winters at Cypress!
This place is really, really great. The owner is so friendly and helpful and really provides an amazing experience. There are so many options and things to do while just hanging out on the lake. We paddle boarded, tanned and laid in the rafts on the water. It’s so close to chicago but feels like a different world and vibe. I definitely will be coming back here.
Staying here has soothed my soul. Everything was clean and Amanda made getting away for a couple of days so easy. The fact that I didn't have to pack utensils, cookware, or even charcoal made going on a trip with a family of 4 less stressful! The beach is wonderful with plenty of toys and all you can think of to play with for adults and kids. We rented a pontoon just down the road from the cottages. This was a top notch lake vacation and we will be coming back multiple time. Thank you for the relaxing amazing time!
Super cute, accommodating and fun! Bbq, fire pit with wood, so many beach toys and stylish accommodations. We will definitely be back.
Amanda, the owner, hosted my work retreat for 8 people and I could not be happier. I have never met a more gracious and friendly host. Instantly, it is if you have been friends for 30 years. Every effort was made by not just Amanda but her staff to see to our needs. We enjoyed it so much we decided to bring our family back for a vacation. This little secret is a treasure and receives my highest praise.
