An absolutely wonderful place for families. Many activities and fun places to visit right on the campus for children and adults. Beautiful landscape to explore. Many walking paths. The staff was great. We stayed in the West Wing. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had one negative experience hence the 4 stars. The hospitality department ignored our many requests for a bed change due to an unfortunate accident. The front office made promises but we never received help. All in all, I would definitely visit again.

I absolutely love this place. We have been coming here for years and everything was perfect as usual. They always have family themed events. Their staff is professional and courteous. Their prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.

Always love Oglebay, we have been staying here almost every spring for the past 30+ years. They are updating a lot of the cabins which will be great! I hope to get an updated cabin next time we go.ud83dude01

Fun experience. Took my 8 year old daughter to see the lights. It was nice. Glad we did it on a weeknight that was not too busy. We also toured the mansion. It was really neat to read about the history of the resort and the founding family. The restored rooms in the mansion were very nice. It was neat to see all the old toys, clothes and furniture. When I explained there was no indoor plumbing and bathrooms at the time the house was built.... well, the look on my daughter's face was priceless! Overall, neat area to go to but not enough to spend more than a couple of days. We also went to the good zoo. It was cute but very small compared to our Columbus zoo near where we live.

Great hotel and lodge, moderately priced but well worth it. Many activities to choose from beautiful indoor pool area. Many restaurants to choose from. Our room very clean and up to date. I would highly recommend this resort for adults aswell as family's with children.
