CVS

This is by far some of the worst service I have ever experienced from a business. First off, they do a horrible job at informing you of when your prescription is filled. Sometimes they will call you to inform you that your prescription is ready only for you to show up and find out that it is not. Fortunately I haven't had this problem lately, but they've replaced one problem with another. If you go through the drive thru to get your prescription medications, expect the wait to be anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. A month ago I waited in line an hour before I was finally at the window. By the time I got there, the worker sat the medication at the window then disappeared. Ten minutes later a different worker shown up and asked if we we were already waiting on a prescription and after explaining what happened to them they finally finished the transaction for us. A few days ago I was here again and it improved a little but not much. It still took me about 25 minutes to get through. I'm not sure what is causing this issue. Perhaps they are understaffed or some other form of work related problem but either way, it is absolutely unacceptable. The whole purpose of a drive thru is to quickly and conveniently fulfill a customer's order while they remain in the comfort of their vehicle, and yet nothing about this company has been quick or convenient, and I certainly felt uncomfortable sitting in the same spot for an hour. To make matters worse, many people are forced to go here because their insurance doesn't cover other pharmacies. CVS may have no control over that situation, but the least they could do is offer better service to the people that must get their prescriptions here.

CVS pharmacy in LaVale are ripping off people on RX prices. I had a new RX called in by my doctor on Jan 5th. I was charged $ 84.22 for a 30 day supply. Being retired on SS and no RX ins., that is a huge monthly bill, so I was cutting them in half to last 2 months. When needing a refill I went to a pharmacy close to home, they asked if I wanted a 30 or 90 day supply, 90 day is $20.00. What??? CVS you should be ashamed, ripping offnseniors and probably everyone else! You should be investigated! We all think the drug companies are making all the money, looks like CVS is part of the price hiking of our medications. Will never go in a CVS again! And will continue to investigate and find the right place to have this matter looked into

ZERO STARS. CVS lavale pharmacy is a complete circus. Every single step of the process is screwed up. From them receiving the scripts to putting them in my hand took almost a week. Multiple trips to the store after i was told they are ready. Only to be met with “your scripts are on hold I don’t know why I can’t tell you from this screen you have to go over to that line to figure it out and then get back in this line”. The line is over 10 people long on both sides. 3-7 phone calls on hold at all times. Rude staff. One woman raised her voice over me while I was talking to her. This was my first and last trip and I am MOST DEFINITELY pursuing a complaint with corporate. I will never step foot in here again even if it’s the last pharmacy on earth.

I absolutely love this store . It's a little pricey but other then that the cashier are amazing.

Horrible experiences. Rarely call to say your prescription is ready. When they do, you drive there and it isn’t. Multiple times have had medications ‘not received’, prescriptions lost, or actual medication mixed up. Cherry on top is the drive through window workers attitudes, as if you are inconveniencing them to be asking for your meds. Support local. Go to beckmans or something else nearby.
