We checked in, went up to our room, looked around, and immediately started looking for another hotel. The floor was filthy— both stained all over and had dead bugs in one corner. The surfaces were covered in dust, particularly the headboards and lamp. The bathtub had a piece of pubic hair on the side. The air unit was coming away from the wall. On a positive note, the staff member was very nice and understanding! Definitely not worth the amount of money to stay there.
Would not recommend staying here. We booked a 3 night stay but ended up cancelling when we got there. Our room and hallway smelled like incense were burning. The furniture had multiple stains on it, and we found multiple spots of powder that appeared to be some sort of bug stuff.
Gross. Had to get another hotel. Everything that was said in previous posts regarding poor cleanliness, stains, torn chairs, sticky floors, I could go on and on. Not to mention the entire place reeking of pot and the undesirables hanging out behind cars ALL NIGHT. I checked on my car about 5 times.nFunny how the responses to the reviews ALL say they will address the problems, yet the same problems come up again and again in their reviews, from months ago.
Everything was OK until I went to take a shower. I had already gotten in when I noticed there was a dirty washcloth from a previous guest looped through the shower curtain rings. I have bad eyes and saw it so either housekeeping didn't clean the bathroom or saw it and just left it there. That's gross even when we're not in the middle of a national pandemic. I stay at Country Inn and Suites properties whenever I can and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant so I will give the place another try. I'll just be sure to check the bathroom thoroughly first!
Disappointed is an understatement. Dead roach in the tub. Carpet stained. Couch cushions stained. Smelled bad. Stay away! Most Country Inn and Suites are phenomenal, unfortunately not this one. Unacceptable. And the second room was equally as filthy. My confirmation number is in the photos.
