Newly renovated hotel/room - bathroom was awesome. We had a few issues - check-in was outside through a tiny little window and unfortunately it happened to be raining and loud traffic going by. Finally was asked to come inside to finish check-in and clerk was still very soft spoken through her mask and unfortunately, had no clue what AARP was to get a discount.nnThe hotel itself looks very nice - almost missed it from the road as signage is not that obvious from direction we came from. Room looks great and very clean. The top step of the one stair case could be a trip hazard. The desk chair was weak - had a bent frame already and tilted sideways. The other chair wasn't completely assembled - cushion not screwed down to frame. The bed - I'm guessing it was a memory foam and its stance was lower to the ground than normal. It was comfortable, but kind of soft. If you have issues getting out of soft, lower furniture - you'll have problems. And I think there was a stabilizing leg under the bed not attached ... The coffee maker didn't work at all :-(. The location ... honestly I'd stay somewhere located nearer to restaurants, shopping, downtown, etc.
Very nice. Clean. Renovated but rustic. Decent amenities. Suitable for the cost. The barn doors are nice. But, they are terrible for privacy. So, I wouldn't recommend staying with someone you're not intimate with.
Fabulous place! Check in was a breeze, beds are super comfortable, place has been renovated and they have put in some really nice touches. Very friendly staff. Price was great!
Clean affordable rooms
This place was a surprise! It doesn't look like much on the outside. The room is big! Even with the king sized bed, there is plenty of space. The bathroom is by far the star of the show. I didn't mind not being able to have a hot bath. I would defiantly go here again if I am in the area, unable to stay at a friend's house. (That's me on the right, in the picture - Joshua)
