Nu Wray

This is the fourth time that I have stayed here. I would highly recommend it. It is not a cookie cutter hotel. This hotel was built in 1833. It is very unique and reflects the Blue Ridge Mountain heritage.

I stopped in with my mother this past August, as she wanted to show me the magical little Inn she'd been to 50 years prior!nnThe young man working was more than accommodating. He gave us a tour of different rooms, talked with us about pricing as well as the Inn's history, was kind enough to take our picture in front of their beautiful fireplace, and even let us eat our lunch outside in the garden. All this and we weren't even paying customers.nnI will definitely be returning, and look forward to spending a night at this charming little spot in the future.

My husband surprised me with a trip to Burnsville that included a stay at the Nu Wray Inn. We enjoyed our stay very much! This historic inn was cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed its old world charm and the staff was wonderful. We spent some time sitting on the porch, which faces out to the town square, and by the fireplace in the very cozy lobby area. Our room met all our expectations. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the area!

Very quaint and nostalgic. Truly a mountain Inn in the most expected definition. Comfortable beds and a good clean atmosphere. Will be staying again when we are visiting in the area.

Beautiful ,warm,comfortable atmosphere. A place right off the pages of hometown America. A must!
