stayAPT Suites Goldsboro-Seymour Johnson

We are loving this apartment suite ud83dude4c. Great manager and staff. The room is perfect for us and our service dog Rhett. We are waiting to buy a house and this is a good place to stay for us at this time. Laundry on-site, flexibility of rooms and stay, clean, brand new and plenty of towels and sheets to swap out. Dishes and Kitchen are perfect for eat in meals. We appreciate it ud83dude4f

Rooms are really nice, especially for the price. The issues were as follows - a very active set of train tracks are across the street and someone at or near the hotel must have done something to the train conductors wife - because every train lays on the horn no matter what time of night it is (2am, 3am, 4:30am - whenever). The kitchen is not really stocked with normal items... I ate cereal out of a coffee cup with a fork because there were no bowls or spoons in my kitchen. Last issue is the parking lot light right outside the bedroom window - there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom - so unless you like sleeping in a lit up room to the sound of a train whistle, you may want to give it a miss. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very nice. Full kitchen with a stove, oven, full size refrigerator. Nice bar height island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a Walmart less than a mile away. Lots of good restaurants in the general area.

Hotel room itself is spacious, overcompensates for the horrendous staff and terrible service. For military reasons, I was out of town for 2 weeks. Not ONE time did they clean, or even call asking to clean my room. One night, I got to my room at 1am to find out my physical key wasn’t working, not on the application either. Guess what I had to do... sleep in the car because the “emergency number” was not going through. Luckily it was only 38 degrees with strong winds. 6, 7, 8, 9am comes along. I called the other location in VIRGINIA to see if there was any way to get in my room. THEY answered and provided me with helpful information, they tried to contact this location, but it was up to the manager at this location to get me in. Finally he answered (with an attitude of course) and I was able to get a replacement key at the desk. TD(manager) did not say a SINGLE word to me when I came in, not that he owed me an apology or greeting. Don’t get me started on towels, water pressure, or the thin walls. I’m not saying don’t stay here, but really consider respecting yourself with options around the city.

What an amazing experience spending the night at this place. I love the super modern design, extremely comfortable, and not many times you find a hotel room this clean.
