Super 8 by Wyndham Goldsboro

My husband and I were in Goldsboro to visit some friends And for some reason most of the hotels were booked up. My husband booked this hotel.nnWe didn't realize that there are people who live in this hotel. I was surprised to see cats looking out of windows people having barbecues in the parking lot or bringing chairs out and hanging out on the sidewalks.nnWe were woken up a couple times just because there were fights going on above us. My husband had requested a downstairs room which we were given. We weren't informed that there was jetted tub but The jets didn't work, which was fine by us.nnIt looks like the decor was recently updated there. Although they could use a bed skirt to cover the bottom of the bed. We were surprised to see a place that still had steps to go into a shower.nnOverall the room was pretty clean although there were some spots on the wall that were dirty. The bed has a sheet and then a super thin blanket on it. It was definitely important to sleep with some heat on in order to stay warm at night.nnThe stuff that we dealt with were really friendly and helpful though!!!

Great Customer Service and nice clean renovated rooms. Great price too.

Would not stay here again. Room is filthy, floors not swept, bathrooms dirty , stains and hair in tub , stains on shower curtain, toilet leaking, t.v. has echo, turned in towel with yellow stain , got a clean one. Sheets dirty, had to sleep on and under my own blanket. Would rather stay at a camp ground, facilities at any campground I have been to where cleaner than this Super 8 ! Not to mention all the cigarette butts up and down the halls and directly in front of my door!! The only reason I gave one star is because I had to, the only way to make this post, would give minus star!!!!

Nice n friendly front desk lady tonight, clean room and looks like the on-line picture, not expensive, pool but not in use due to Covid. I would recommend staying here. Right off Corporate Drive in Goldsboro, North Carolina.nMet a very nice friendly lady named Sue. So sorry I didn't get a chance to say good bye to her. All the staff were very friendly and attend to your needs immediately. Thank You All

DO NOT STAY HERE! I have never been so disgusted and horrified by our stay and departure from your hotel in Goldsboro, NC. This hotel is filthy. Changed rooms, still disgusting. No hot water. Horrific stay! You should be ashamed to have your name attatched to this hotel. The young lady who is your night clerk should not be in guest services.
