La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Cary

Nice hotel. We were pleasantly surprised about the short distance from the hotel to Apex & Raleigh. We were able to check in early and the AAA rate was reasonable. The staff was extremely professional.nnParticularly the young lady who handles the evening/night shift. We had an issue with some younger guests on our floor playing loud music & smoking marijuana. After reporting both issues to her, she kindly informed me that she would handle it. Within the hour (from my room's peephole), I observed three police officers speaking with the guests.nnPromptly after the police conversation ended, the guests were departing the room with their belongings & I can only assume that they were asked to leave the hotel. Seemed like a decent enough place. I was only here one night and checking in early and checked out late. I didn't have any issues, the room was clean and the staff was friendly enough. I'm really happy the place was pet friendly, that's a really big plus for my trip.

I choose La Quinta chain because of its pet’s policy. I am driving from Florida to NY and booked my room ahead of time. After a long 6 hours ride from La Quinta Savannah South side, I arrived at La Quinta in Cary NC just to be told that They only allow 2 pets. No where on their website, which I check for each of their hotels, it says that they only allow 2 pets. I was offered to book another room for the extra pet. REALLY? I got lucky that the comfort suites allowed pets and that It was 2 minutes away. Time to change hotels. I don’t like unpleasant surprises. Did I mention that from NY to Florida I booked rooms at La Quinta?

Spent a few hours waiting for the toilet in my room to be fixed. I understand that the staff is very busy but some needs need to be met quickly ud83dude2c I’m here for 3 nights so I hope that is the only mishap. The vent in the bathroom did not work either and should be fixed before a mold problem starts. The room looks very clean and I am happy with the price I paid. I wish breakfast was still available but COVID has put a stop to that. The staff is super friendly.

Wasn't alerted about the $75 add on fee until I got to the hotel... ended up literally having to sleep in my car for the night 12 hours away from home... seriously? Don't think I'll be coming back here. Not even an hour after I had left due to not enough funds to handle that large of a deposit, they tried to take out $68 out of my account. I didn't and still don't have this money and I'm very much disappointed. So now not only when I get the money to get gas to go home finally will it be taken out for these people, but they also refused to wave the fee due to being 12 hours away from my home. I'm sure they'll just respond with an automatic messaging and that's even worse. Take your guests life and circumstances into consideration. Seriously would rate 0 if I could. Not understanding people and only care about the money involved, not the guests.
