Across the Pond Bed and Breakfast

My mom and I were in town for a movie premiere and stayed in the Presley room. When we arrived, Andy showed us around the main level and then to our room, which was spotless and homey (I particularly loved the Frida mirror in our closet). The bed and breakfast is gorgeous inside and out, and our room was so pretty I probably sent most of my friends a few photos just to brag. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and they had a separate AC/heat unit per room plus a sound machine which made for a restful sleep. We didn’t have time to stay for the wine and cheese hour at 5 as we had to rush to the premiere we were in town for, but the owners Andy and Mary were so lovely that we wish we could’ve. Mary was kind enough to leave a note and remind us of daylight savings so that we wouldn’t miss breakfast - which was absolutely delicious! We felt right at home from the moment we walked through the door. We are currently planning a girls trip to Salisbury just to have an excuse to stay at Across The Pond again! The warmest thank you and biggest hugs to Andy and Mary who were truly the loveliest hosts.

Decided to surprise my wife with a night away from home at Across the Pond. We went expecting a nice night together and breakfast in the morning, but received so much more than just that! Andrew and Mary have an amazingly beautiful home and are wonderful hosts. Each room is very cozy, beautifully decorated, and makes you want to spend hours upon hours in each one enjoying good company and a cup of coffee or tea. We are so pleased with our stay and can’t wait to visit again. We HIGHLY recommend Across the Pond to anyone looking for an overnight’s stay at a lovely B&B that goes above and beyond expectations.nnAndrew and Mary - thank you so much for a wonderful stay! This hundred year old home is a Victorian mansion that has been fully restored. We were met at the door by Andrew and Mary who greeted us with big smiles. We were exhausted after a long journey and they went above and beyond by helping us carry our our heavy luggage up the stairs to our room. The room was warm, inviting, and much larger than we expected. Fresh homemade Toffee cake was waiting in our room. The bed and breakfast really feels like a home and we were truly their guests rather than a business.nnBreakfast for each of our three mornings was new and different. We especially loved the lemon ricotta pancakes with the raspberry compote and fresh squeezed orange juice. One evening we were offered a glass of wine and freshly baked homemade cheddar crackers (they were as amazing as they sound).nnOne morning we had the privilege of getting a tour and hearing the history on the house. They were also willing to share their story on how a British couple ended up in North Carolina.nnAndrew and Mary offered advice on local activities and restaurants. In general they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time Salisbury.

Home away from home! Delightful host and hostess- Andrew and Mary are the ultimate hospitality givers. They are ready, willing and able to assist their guests. Breakfasts are very good and topped off with something sweet to eat or save for later. You could not ask for a better place to stay.

Excellent!!!nMy husband and I went to Salisbury to perform The Nutcracker and stayed at this beautiful Bed & Breakfast.nThe Place is full of beautiful details. Food was great and Mary & Andrew the owners were just the most wonderful human being that made our stay special. We are both international principal dancers and we really recommend the Across the pond Bed & breakfast
