Hampton Inn Rocky Mount

Rooms were clean with a clean scent not heavily fragrances but clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and cordial. No issues they even delivered an extra blanket and pillow for us. I definitely will stay here again.

Nice hotel, nice people even when you are in a last minute stop to rest after a day on the road. Breakfast and following CDC regulation (masks, cleanliness) every room was sealed with lysol stickers that they had been clean and disinfected.

Excellent check in with Sherry. Room is large with a walk in shower which we requested for my 96 yr old mother. Very nice facilities. We will stay here again.

I made a reservation to stop here with my daughter on my way home. Once we got into our room I tried turning on the air conditioner because it was hot. It read Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Went into the bathroom to get the tub ready for my daughter's bath and there was peeling paint everywhere. She was looking forward to taking a bath with one of her Christmas presents. That was the first issue. As I was unpacking I realized the room wasn't getting any cooler. I tried calling the front desk however there appeared to be no way of doing that. I went to the front desk and explained what was going on and was given another room. Although this one was equipped with a working air conditioner we still had the same problems with the tub. I was totally suprised and very disappointed. We stayed at the Roanoke Rapids Hampton Inn and I was so impressed I made a reservation at the Rocky Mount location and was totally let down. Next time I definitely won't go there.

Manager very friendly and informative. Room is very clean and sanitized. Conveniently located off 95. Rates are very affordable. I love Hampton Inn.
