Buttercup Haven Vacation Rental

I definitely recommend Buttercup Haven! The mountain views are absolutely amazing and the house has all of the comforts you could possibly want. Margaret was very responsive; we had a couple of questions while there which she quickly answered. We would love to stay there again!

Buttercup Haven is simply amazing. Margaret is extremely easy to communicate with and has gone beyond making our stay luxurious, breathtakingly beautiful and enjoyed. This is our 2nd stay at Buttercup and we hope to return. This rental far exceeds what one would even dream of for a rental vacation spot.

How can I adequately describe the most beautiful view ever? Both sides had covered decks with lovely furniture. One side displayed the sunrise, the other the sunset. All around the home are beautiful flowers, and green space for corn hole toss and Jarts.nInside you will be amazed at the high ceilings and open floor plan. Kitchen had everything you need plus a variety of spices. We cooked every meal in because of the virus and had the most fun all together. There are 5 large bedrooms when you include the downstairs tv room. Each having their own beautiful bathroom. Just lovely.n.Side trip favorite was Dry Falls and Bust your Butt Falls. We stayed in Buttercup Haven for 10 days in July - the home was exactly as described and shown on the website, both in the photographs and the video. Buttercup Haven is in a very lovely setting “on top of the mountain“, and the views are stunning! The drive up is paved and very easy to navigate, and once inside the gate, there is a covered parking spot at the front of the door, making it very easy to unload your suitcases or groceries.nnStepping foot into Buttercup Haven for the first time upon our arrival brought huge smiles to our faces! Every where we looked, we saw attention to detail - beauty - luxury - fabulous views!! We knew it might be hard to leave every day to go out on our “day adventures“!nnMargaret is the best hostess ever! She has it “all together” with regard to any information, instructions, details etc. that you might need so that your stay will be just perfect..... I like the fact that she touched base with us by phone/text upon check-in, just to make sure that everything was fine. She also provided her cell phone number that we could call or text at any time, as well as her email address.nnThere were only two of us (my husband and I), but there is plenty of room in this home for 10 people - there is a downstairs area with a sofa and full bathroom - recreation area and a small play area - again, all beautifully designed and decorated. The upstairs area is also exactly as shown in the photographs – we did not need to use the space but it was definitely just as luxurious and comfortable as the middle level where the other two bedrooms are. There is plenty of everything! Towels, kitchen supplies (very gourmet), bath items .....and very comfortable and beautiful linens on the beds, great living room furniture to relax in, and all the outdoor furniture you could possibly want.nnIt is obvious that Margaret takes great pride as the owner of Buttercup Haven and so she should! If you are lucky enough to stay here it will only add to the beautiful memories you will have a vacation in the North Carolina mountains!nnLetitia & Glenn

Our recent stay at Buttercup was peaceful and memorable. We have so many positive comments on this oasis in the sky. Here are a few of the awesome points of the house!nn•tBreathtaking views of the Mountains from comfortable covered decks on the East and West side of the house. Watching sunrise in the clouds and beautiful, majestic sunsets.n•tBlooming flowers in an exquisitely landscaped setting around the house. A perfect backdrop for family pictures!n•tA kitchen equipped for a Chef! Great items for preparing food and a full library of contemporary cookbooks.n•tLuxurious bedrooms (and beds!) with modern bathrooms and showers.n•tA gated community guaranteeing privacy and safety without seeming intrusive.nnNo I am not the owner . Upon leaving, my wife mentioned that this vacation at Buttercup was better than our luxury resort holiday in Saint Lucia. I must agree. We highly recommend Buttercup for a vacation rental with family and friends. Of course, unless we are renting that week! We plan on returning soon.
