Eagles View Lodge

We booked for 4 days. Day 1, hot tub jet 1 didn’t work. That is the one with the heating element. We would never have booked this place if we knew the hot tub wasn’t working. So we called the maintenance number. It is day 3 and we haven’t heard anything. We had half heartedly joked about not hearing from anyone - what if we had an emergency like no water. Then day 3 we lost all water. And we still can’t get anyone on the phone locally to provide any eta on someone coming up here. So we have 9 people and no water. And we are spending our vacation looking for help from someone. We are now calling the local water company ourselves to find someone to help.nnI would never recommend this place or management company to anyone.nnHowever, if you do book this place...nnThe house is nice enough. Except if you use the fireplace. The heat goes straight to the open third level. So make sure you crack the windows in the upstairs bedrooms or the temperature will quickly rise to over 80 degrees.

This post is actually for The Summit Lodge, which is where we spent a week of great vacationing. The crisp mountain air and beautiful view was exhilarating everyday!
