Almost Heaven Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful experience with Rob & Patti as they are the most warm and welcoming people you can ever meet. At Almost Heaven. the rooms and the place was so warm & cozy and super clean, with all the CDC guidelines followed. The breakfast was delicious & so well prepared, it was like being at a 5 star restaurant, so delicious. They had so many helpful tips on how to get there & where to go to experience the nature & the beauty around the area. It was a great experience, just like hanging out with friends & family.

The name Almost Heaven leaves some pretty high expectations, and they were met. Rob and Patti are wonderful. They make you feel like your home, only better. No detail has been overlooked. The food was delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable. One caution husbands, I almost had to drag my wife out of here. I think she would have stayed forever. Can't wait to visit these kind people and their home again.

We stayed here for a last minute birthday celebration recently and it couldn't have been a better vacation. The innkeepers and the hospitality were awesome, catering to our every need and making sure we were comfortable and safe with current restrictions. The country gourmet food was delicious with creative dishes like Candy Corn Parfaits. We really did feel like we left as friends and will definitely make a return visit. The porch was so relaxing and i loved sitting out with a cup of coffee. The charm and ambience of the older home is exactly what the bed and breakfast experience should be about. Definitely recommend for a visit to Waynesville and the surrounding area.

Our stay at Almost Heaven was a memorable experience. The price of stay includes a three course breakfast. Using china and glassware from the era of the house was an extra nice touch. Patti was like a sister who wanted to make sure you felt comfortable and were taken care of. If you wanted to socialize with other guests the front patio was the place to hang. The house was near downtown Waynesville (about half a mile walking distance) with quaint shops and great food and beer. Close to hiking trails, Blue ridge parkway, and Asheville. So many different varieties of things to do it really does warrant another stay. Beautiful home and great hosts. We will be back.

Welcome to your most amazing mountain home away from home! I can not even do this place justice reviewing it here. You just have to come experience it for yourself! Beautiful! Clean! Professional! Friendly! Accommodating! We stayed 5 nights in the Summer Room on the first floor with a queen sized bed and private bathroom. We looked forward to the country gourmet breakfasts every morning, evening snacks, turn down service and beautiful spots to enjoy cozying around the property. There is also an outdoor grill, an inviting front porch and gazebo to relax after a long day. But what makes this place so special are the hosts, Patty and Rob. Good, down home people who understand what hospitality is and serve you with a smile! We will be back soon!
