The Yellow House On Plott Creek Road

The Yellow House was amazing! The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The Cottage room was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed and we felt so comfortable in the spotless room. Chad was so professional and friendly as well as the intern that was there to check us in. The food was incredible!!! Absolutely delicious!!!nThe only minor complaint we had was the bed could have been a little softer. But we will absolutely stay there again and can't wait!

This house and its grounds are beautiful! Its location is perfect just a few miles from downtown Waynesville, while feeling so tucked away with great mountain views. The house is decorated perfectly with lots of areas for guests to sit and hang out. Our room was perfect, too, and very clean! We ordered the Cheese & Wine plate, which was ready when we checked in, and it was stacked with all kinds of yummy cheeses and other accouterments. It was also my fiance's birthday the next morning so I emailed the house before arriving and asked if they could do something extra special for our birthday breakfast. Chad responded immediately to my request and come the day of, they really pulled through! The breakfast will be something we remember for years to come! We will definitely be back!

The Yellow House was a wonderful experience. The host was gracious and welcoming. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate; I felt comfortable walking in my bare feet/socks when I was in my room. We wore masks in the common areas and we were comfortably seated for breakfast using social distancing. It was a relaxed and easy adjustment for the times. The breakfast and mid day treats were delicious and Chad offered a meal that was carefully planned. We are already booked again for October.

Chad and Josh consistently go above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They are always on their toes about little details, and that truly makes the experience phenomenal. The grounds alone are absolutely breathtaking, the rooms are so comfortable and homey, and the food is better than most restaurants, but their hospitality is truly the best thing about staying here. After staying with them so many times, we couldn't have found a better place to have our wedding. We opted to rent the house for the entire weekend, and Chad has been one of the most helpful and gracious venue hosts. Not only has he been so loving with our family who has called to ask a thousand questions, but he's also provided my fiance and I with ample ideas, tips, and local business contacts to really elevate everything we never would've even thought of. These two and this wonderful little B&B are an absolute MUST stay in Waynesville.

I don't know where to begin to describe how amazing our stay was. We chose The Yellow House for our elopement and they completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in they were warm and inviting. From our room, to the food to our elopement ceremony, we couldn't have had a more perfect weekend. Chad and his entire staff are top notch! We are already planning our next stay!
