Benjamin W. Best Country Inn and Carriage House

Lovely hosts and the carriage house was very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the biscuit making course. Elegant dining and delicious food. I should point out that the meals are incredibly expensive. $120 per steak dinner and that did not include wine. Also, its a farm in Greene county so expect a few flies. Cool event barn in the back. Interesting history of the house. I would recommend this as a relaxing and restful getaway.

Thanks so much to Mary Betty and Ossie for opening their wonderfully interesting home and life on the farm to us. We had an educational and restful experience and look forward to going back again sometime soon. The accomodations were so comfortable and the full country breakfast was so satisfying that we could not have asked for more. What a special place they have built. Their care and stewardship of their land and their involvement in their community are an inspiration.

I worked here as a DJ for a wedding held on the grounds of this venue. Ossie, Mary Ann(?), their family and staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Beautiful setup for a wedding and highly recommend your special event to be held here.
