Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem

It's old which is understandable as to why it's in the conditions that it's in but even so it should at least maintain its cleanliness. The room we stayed in the bathroom was dirty - especially the toilet, and the shower clogged immediately after turning on the water. Bed sheets looked good. Also, the front lobby looks sketchy and not very welcoming. Would I stay again? No not really.

They have free breakfast every day.The people were so kind and helpful.They always ask if you need anything.This is a hotel that we will come back again to.

I booked my hotel thru Travelocity and booked a room with a king bed . I arrive and I go to the room and it's two queens. No biggie. As we enter the room we can hear the cars from the interstate, which is expected since it's so close to the interstate. However after closer inspection of the window I could see that the window was a double pane glass window but it was missing one of the panes of glass and the glass that was not fitted properly and silicone was used to try fill in the gap. It was so bad that you could fill wind blowing thru the silicon. The next thing I seen was in the bathroom in the tub, it looked like someone kicked the wall and still had cracked semi attached paneling. The next morning we go to get breakfast and from Travelocity website it shows a full breakfast from the pictures. We show up and the only thing they have are granola bars and cereal and some 1 dollar jimmy Dean frown sausage bisquit. Each one of these complaints by themselves wouldn't be such a big deal but combined lead to a poor experience. I wouldn't expect this from a holiday Inn. I think the hotel should update their pictures on these sites to really show what type of room and meal you will be getting . Will try to post pictures.

Very nice, clean. Polite staff. Close to everything!

This room was clean, the beds were tall but really comfy, firm.they even had breakfast, stuff. Wifi was slow getting attached. The shower was fabulous, lots of warm water good pressure nice . One thing was a problem, the.dresser drawers wanted to open by themselves which would create a trip hazzard. If you looked at that piece of furniture you can see that it leans forward. Overall a nice stop on our trip.
