Holiday Inn Express & Suites: Hope Mills-Fayetteville Arpt

Everyone was kind, sweet, and professional. They were very understanding to my needs. This place was a blessing in a time of trouble, just wish it was a little cheaper. All the staff from the front desk, cafe, and housekeeping were wonderful! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

My husband and I spent a night at this hotel in September 2020while attending a vow renewal for relatives. The husband unfortunately passed away in January 2021 and we visited again, so my husband reserved a King executive room for 1 night. When we got there, it was like 2 am as we were visiting with relatives. After unloading our stuff, we turned the TV on and realized it wouldn't come on. We called the front desk, and Lizzy/Elizabeth said the only thing she could do is have someone look at it in the morning, or put us in a Queen room. My husband does not do queen beds, and I was pregnant at the time so he wanted me to be comfortable. We told her that we leave in the morning so them looking at it in the morning wouldn't help, and we didn't want a queen room. I asked if they'd give us a discount since the TV wasn't working, and she said she isn't allowed to. We packed our things and went to another Holiday Inn in the area. Before we left, my husband spoke to Lizzy and asked if she could contact a manager, make a note or something, she stated that she was not able to do that, she would do nothing to accommodate us with the TV situation. I called guest relations and made a complaint. When the manager Desmond called me back, he stated that Lizzy told him that she offered to come and fix the TV and we said no, LIE. He asked me to send him an email, and I did. He mentioned giving us even a part of the money back which was better than nothing. After I sent the email, I didn't hear from him. When I did call back, he claim all he could do is give us some points for another stay. They knew the TV wasn't working, that was the last King suite, but they just wanted the money. And to not give us a dime back after we didn't stay, AND the TV wasn't working, was a shame. And Lizzy ought to be ashamed of herself for lying like that, but if she lied about us, she'll lie about something else. We definitely won't be staying there again if we are ever in the area again, CROOKS!

Bed was very comfortable. Room was so clean. Sheets were very clean. Had a balcony but did not use it. The bathroom was very clean. Strip center shares the parking lot and has shops for food and drink. Very friendly front desk clerks.

Been here going on two weeks for work , no complaints besides cleaning crew lack of friendly customer service. But ALL the staff at front desk have been very kind. Greet us coming and going and always say have a nice day at work.

Everything was nice I just wish they would fix the balconies from the paint coming off on your feet and you tracking it in the room
