The MacPherson House

My husband and I stayed at The MacPherson House for one night and enjoyed our stay. We were able to park in an area right beside the house. It was a pleasure to meet Katy who greeted us when we arrived.nnWe stayed in The Lafayette room which was charming and comfortable. Everything was so clean and fresh. Plenty of towels were provided, the toiletries were lovely, and the fresh rose and delicious chocolate bar were nice touches. Everything was set up and laid out so beautifully.nnI love having a hot cup of tea in the evening so it was nice to have a tea and coffee station right outside our room. The available teas were delicious (my favorite was the peach flavored one). Both paper cups and mugs were available along with coffee pods for the Keurig machine.nnA hot breakfast was offered but we knew we were leaving very early the next morning. I let Katy know ahead of time and she packed up a delicious breakfast for us which consisted of hard boiled eggs, yogurts, and muffins. She prepared it the day before and left it in an easily accessible refrigerator on the first floor.nnI am so happy we chose to stay at The MacPherson House while in Fayetteville.

We had the pleasure of being the first guests to stay at The MacPherson House. The rooms are extremely spacious with fantastic views from the restored windows. Each room has its own character and unique touches that make it enticing to visit again just to stay in a different room. The back deck off the kitchen provided a great semi-private location for a relaxing breakfast or late night glass of wine. The central location makes it easy to get to any part of Fayetteville. Downtown is a short drive, or even a nice walk, away with a myriad of dining options as well. We look forward to our next visit.

The rooms and service were fantastic! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, updated, and spacious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will point you in the direction of interesting local attractions if needed. Thank you for a great stay!

I happened upon The MacPherson House last minute when suddenly finding myself needing a place to stay for the night. My sister booked it for me as a treat, and it was a true treat. Lovely through and through - lovely rooms, Katy is exceedingly kind and welcoming, and I find myself looking for an excuse to return to Fayetteville. I can't recommend it enough. Cheers.

Loved watching this beautiful place be restored and start its life as a cornerstone for Fayetteville community gathering and events. I’m particularly fond of the “littlest innkeeper”. You’ll find thoughtfully decorated rooms, warm and caring ownership, and the perfect location for your stay in Fayetteville. Highly recommend!
