The Inn on Pamlico Sound

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Inn and were very pleased. The Magnolia room is an excellent choice with top floor views on the deck of Pamlico Sound. Room was spacious and the staff were very accommodating. Definitely would stay here again. Hatteras area is much quieter and more laid back than northern resort towns.

Beautiful, quaint Inn with an amazing restaurant! The service was wonderful from the moment we checked in. They thought of everything for us, so it was very relaxing. The porch overlooking the sound was picture perfect with one beautiful sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

My husband and I had a delightful, two night stay in the Camelia room to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we were especially grateful for the seamless way our COVID cancelled plans from last year were transferred over to this spring. The room, the grounds and the views were all amazing. The complimentary breakfasts were fantastic and we were able to enjoy a view of the Pamlico Sound through the window right next to our table. We live just a few hours away on the Carolina mainland and try to get to the Outer Banks a couple times a year during the shoulder seasons and we absolutely intend to return to the Inn in the future.

This review is 5 years late ud83dude06 BUT my husband and I eloped in 2016 to this gorgeous inn. The staff & management were beyond all expectations. It was incredible! Since 2016, I have had 3 friends elope here as well! Looking to come visit sometime within the year if this virus settles down, this time with our children.

2020.12.05 Its always a pleasure to be here; we've come almost every year since 2016. The staff are wonderful and I love seeing the dogs around too (it makes it feel homey). The Cafe is amazing. Everything we've ever gotten was wonderful, although, we rarely have room for dessert. The property is so beautiful its nice to be able to just hang out on the porch if you want to have a lazy day and enjoy the view.
