Comfort Suites Southport - Oak Island

I cannot say enough about this place. I have lived in this area for almost 5 years now. I have had to use this location on many occasions. You will always feel at home here. The general manager Melissa Fineman has always been accommodating to me and my dogs. Very Pet Friendly! Stay at this place, you will not be disappointed!

First room wasn’t clean, so they moved us to another.... the sink in the room, only the cold water worked, the showers mixing valve was backwards or something cause you had to play with it to get hot water.... the bathroom sinks water smelt like it came from the toilet.... every night we got back the TV wouldn’t pick up channels... not enough parking for all the rooms, so we had to park somewhere else and walk ( the office person just said “ idk, you’ll have to find somewhere” so I parked in the front and put a note on my car stating why I was parked there.... breakfast was terrible.... just overall terrible and don’t plan on coming back here.... worst hotel in the Southport-Oak island area..

Erika at the front desk made all the difference in our stay! she was there in the afternoons smiling ready to help with anything. Her customer service was defiantly the best part of our stay here! She made the difference from a decent hotel into exceptional! Will be back to this motel due to her alone.nAlso the young lady in the morning when I checked in had the crib i requested already set up in my room definitely helpful when we had been on the road for 4 hours with 3children including a infant. and she let me check in early which was a huge plus. These ladies take there job seriously and it for sure shines through in the best way to guest.nI would highly recommend.nThank you ladies for making the first vacation since the baby a huge success!

Great 2 night stay after Labor Day. The most friendly staff, we were checked in by the General Manager, super nice and everyone we met down the line just really friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was clean clean clean, everything in good working order. Good solid WiFi stayed connected.nWell kept outdoor pool got our use 3 times a day.nWe miss the real breakfast, not hotels fault. Grab and go bag were handed out with a smile.nHot coffee available 24/7 always appreciated.nA great hotel in a great part of the country.

Excellent customer service. We had a maintenance issue and were given a new room, no questions. They were taking appropriate precautions with COVID. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The pool was clean. The fitness center was closed. Nice place to bring my dogs and hit the beach, which wasn't crowded at all. Decent complimentary breakfast as well.
