Oak Island Beach Villas

Beach great, condo quality hit or miss. Ours was a miss. #1305. Kitchen was pretty good. So full of ware, no place for groceries. Beds fine with a hard mattress. Cheap sheets. Bathrooms clean. Dining room chairs worn.nnLiving room couches very worn, coming apart and smelly. Great view of ocean even with blinds closed as slats are missing. Screen doors either ripped or broken handle. Piece of deck rail broken. No quality standards for unit upkeep.

Place was VERY misleading. Waited on housekeeping to finish cleaning for 4 hours. When I called to see if they would even finish the room today the guy said “oh yeah the room as been done did they not send you the code?”. Finally got the code and walked in and the first thing you smell is an ungodly cigarette odor. Like someone smoked a whole pack right before they walked out the door. Seashells in the sink just sitting, Ice box for freezer was sitting on top of the fridge with a melting ice cream sandwich in it.... dish washer was full of dishes. There is what looks like a blood stain on the carpet beside the bed in the main bedroom. Marks all over the wall. Absolutely insane. Will NOT stay here any longer than I have to. 1600 for the week and isn’t worth 400. You’re better off going to stay in a roach motel. Will be about the same condition for much cheaper.

Great place to visit. Love being right near the ocean. Quite a few places to go shopping.

Actually enjoyed this place. Easy access to the ocean and pool. Short walk to the pier and a very good restaurant. Also, held up great during the hurricane Isaias while we were there.

We stay here every year around the 4th of July..Prices are reasonable and the view is awesome. Great family beach. Come stay a week and you will returned refreshed for sure. Love the small town feeling and everyone treats you like you are a local. We have been coming multiple times a year for over 11 years now.
