LaPolena Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had a great time! They provided bicycles for us to ride, snacks and a lovely breakfast during our stay. We also had a perfect view of the Flotilla from the porch! Our room was very comfortable and clean, like the rest of the home. Suzy and JD were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to our next visit!

We had the most enjoyable experience while staying at LaPolena for our wedding weekend. The warm “at home” feeling complimented by the five star service was unforgettable. Our favorite new bed and breakfast to stay in while visiting Southport. The elegance of the figurehead suite with the claw foot bathtub made it feel like a resort spa! There is not one thing that could have been different to make it any better, it was absolutely perfect! Thank you Suzy for the hospitality on our special weekend there at LaPolena, we will be back! Highly recommend!

We stayed here a few weeks back and I have to say, LaPolena is the most relaxing, detailed, and MAGICAL B&B I have ever stayed in. The hosts were beyond welcoming and friendly and thought of every single detail imaginable. And the food.... my mouth is watering as we speak. Suzy is an absolutely incredible cook!!! My husband and I are already thinking about the next time we will visit... hopefully very soon!!! Thank you to Suzy and JD for everything! It was a weekend we will NEVER forget and we look forward to our future visits!

We’ve stayed here twice now and both experiences were excellent. The hosts are delightful interesting people. Accomodations are luxurious and the B&B is run very professionally. Location is great, close to downtown and on the water. Highest recommendation.

The house, the rooms, the amenities, the food, and the hosts....everything about this place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent 2 nights with Suzy & JD for our babymoon and couldn't have imagined a more welcoming or relaxing experience.
